Essential Functions

Reports during an absence nurse.

Performs first aid, medication and specialized medical treatments for the purpose of providing appropriate care for ill, medically fragile and/or injured children.

Follows professional practices consistent with school and system policies

Acts in a professional manner.

Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.

Reports in a timely manner to the specified location.
Requirements
RN or LPN Licensure.

Physical Requirements
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following require the following physical demands: significant lifting (up to 50 pounds), carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Job may require exposure to outside weather conditions.
Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 50% walking, and 45% standing.
Education/Training
Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
