Reports during an absence for a food service worker.

Prepares and arranges food and beverage items for the purpose of serving them to student and adult customers in an efficient and attractive manner while meeting mandated nutritional requirements and projected meal quantities.

Cleans and maintains utensils, equipment, storage, food preparation, and serving areas for the purpose of maintaining sanitary conditions in compliance with current health standards.

Follows professional practices consistent with school and system policies

Acts in a professional manner.

Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned.

Reports in a timely manner to the specified location.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.

Physical Requirements
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following require the following physical demands: significant lifting (up to 50 pounds), carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity. Job may require exposure to outside weather conditions.
Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 50% walking, and 45% standing.
Education/Training
Must be at least 18 years of age; minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
